Archiving Policy

LAW & PASS: International Journal of Law, Public Administration and Social Studies is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content.

Digital Preservation

This journal utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve its content. The PKP PN provides free and secure long-term archiving for journals using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

The PKP PN operates using distributed preservation principles to ensure long-term accessibility of content, with multiple copies of journal content securely distributed across a decentralized network of preservation nodes.

This system guarantees that, in the event the journal website becomes unavailable, the archived content will remain accessible and can be restored for public use.

OJS Archiving Support

As a journal managed using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, LAW & PASS supports built-in archiving mechanisms based on LOCKSS preservation principles to enhance the reliability and sustainability of digital preservation.

Additional Preservation

In addition to formal preservation systems, the journal content may also be accessible through indexing databases, institutional repositories, and web archiving services to ensure wider dissemination and redundancy of scholarly records.

Commitment

The journal continuously evaluates and improves its archiving strategy to align with international best practices in digital preservation and scholarly publishing.

All archived content remains openly accessible to the public without restriction in accordance with the journal’s open access policy.

Self-Archiving (Repository) Policy

LAW & PASS: International Journal of Law, Public Administration and Social Studies allows authors to deposit versions of their manuscripts in institutional or other repositories of their choice.

Authors may archive the submitted version (preprint), accepted version (postprint), and the published version (Version of Record) without restriction.

There is no embargo period. Authors are encouraged to include full citation details and a link to the official publication when depositing their work.
