Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

This journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. The journal follows the guidelines and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Duties of Authors

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original and properly cite or quote the work and/or words of others.
  • Multiple or Concurrent Publication: Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently.
  • Acknowledgement of Sources: Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given.
  • Authorship of the Paper: Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the research.
  • Data Access and Retention: Authors may be asked to provide the raw data related to their manuscript for editorial review.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Authors should disclose any financial or other substantive conflict of interest.
  • Fundamental Errors in Published Works: If authors discover significant errors in their published work, they must promptly notify the journal editor.

Duties of Editors

  • Publication Decisions: Editors are responsible for deciding which articles should be published based on the journal’s policies and reviewer recommendations.
  • Fair Play: Editors evaluate manuscripts without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, or political philosophy.
  • Confidentiality: Editors must ensure confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Editors must not use unpublished materials for their own research without consent.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Contribution to Editorial Decisions: Peer review assists editors in making decisions and may help authors improve their work.
  • Promptness: Reviewers should notify the editor if they are unable to review in a timely manner.
  • Confidentiality: Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.
  • Standards of Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively with clear arguments.
  • Acknowledgement of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited.
  • Disclosure and Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should not review manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.

Publication Malpractice

  • Plagiarism in any form is unethical and unacceptable.
  • Data fabrication or falsification is strictly prohibited.
  • Citation manipulation and unethical authorship practices are not tolerated.
  • Any misconduct will be handled according to COPE guidelines.

Handling of Misconduct

The journal will investigate any suspected misconduct. If misconduct is confirmed, appropriate actions will be taken, including correction, retraction, or removal of the article.
