Conflict of Interest Policy

Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research.

Examples include:

• Funding sources
• Institutional affiliations
• Personal relationships

If no conflict exists, authors should state:
“The authors declare no conflict of interest.”

Editors and reviewers must also disclose conflicts and recuse themselves when necessary.
